“A nurse is an earthly angel who plays a crucial role in the beginning of life during the birth of a baby; and also at the end of life during the time when someone takes their last breath. Nurses are indeed the backbone of healthcare"
— Lionella Betts-MacCormack, MBA, MSN, RN
“I started my nursing career after I had been in sales for about 10 years. I was happy to transition into nursing after I had my son, because of what I thought was a flexible schedule - 3 days a week. Little did I know that those 3 day work weeks were mostly 14-hour shifts that required you to prepare yourself mentally on the 1st day; work for 14 hours per day on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days; and be physically exhausted on the 5th day. All this translates to the same 5-day work week”
—Lionella Betts-MacCormack, MBA, MSN, RN
"I started writing at a very young age because as a little girl, I was an introvert (and still is), and writing helped me to express myself. I am very passionate about writing. Whenever I write, I feel good. Additionally, whenever, I would write papers for my school work, my instructors almost always commended my writing. Even at work, they would ask me to do a simple write up, and before you know it, I have written a whole page or two. I have also discovered that I am more gentle in my writing than when I speak. Furthermore, writing affords me the opportunity to analyze my thoughts in a meaningful and inspiring way" —Lionella Betts-MacCormack, MBA, MSN, RN
"My approach to writing is one of personal narrative, descriptive, and expository writing. My personal narrative writing style will include telling stories of my personal life experiences, my descriptive style will focus on describing events that have happened to me or events that I have witnessed, and my expository writing will focus on teaching and education about specific topics. Most importantly, I would be writing in simple English sentences that almost everyone can understand in order to reach a wider readership audience"

I want everyone to know that I am far from perfect and I’m not here to judge anyone. I am giving my views according to my life experiences and worldview. My worldview is greatly influenced by the Bible, and I believe that the most important decision of your life is to make Jesus the Lord of your life. All I ask of you is to keep an open mind and respect my views and beliefs as I also respect yours even if we disagree. Remember, that God uses imperfect people to make His Will perfect. And also remember that all of us have a free will to pursue whatever path we want in life - whether good or bad.
